Rain in Vegas
If The Palms is Las Vegas nightlife’s powerhouse hotel, then Rain is its star quarterback. Home to International DJ Paul Oakenfold and his first US residency in ten years, Saturday nights features the Brit DJ and special guests for the Perfecto party. On Fridays, Music is the Currency hosts guest performers weekly. To enter the large dance club, you walk through a futuristic tunnel leading into the main room where a spectacular lighting show splashes the floor and walls with color. Rain may be best known, however, for its special effects like cascading water, fog and bursts of flame that shoot out from metal frames above the dance floor. The upper levels offer VIP cabanas and ultra-exclusive members-only suites accessed by a biometric thumbprint scanner.
